Accessibility
We build Taleemy Inquiry to be usable by every teacher, including those who rely on assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — we review new features against these standards before release and continually revisit existing screens.
What we do today
- Semantic HTML with proper heading structure and landmarks.
- Keyboard navigation across all primary flows.
- Visible focus indicators.
- Descriptive labels on icons and interactive elements.
- Color contrast ratios reviewed against WCAG AA.
- Responsive layouts that reflow at 400% zoom.
Known limitations
Some rich interactions — such as the phase timeline visualization — are being progressively improved. If you encounter a specific barrier, we'd like to hear about it.
Report an issue
Email accessibility@taleemy.org with a description of the problem, the page or feature involved, and any assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days.
